US supernatural drama Witches of East End has been axed by the Lifetime network.
The series, which centred on a family of witches, will end at two seasons.
Loosely based on the novels of Melissa de la Cruz the show ended its second season with just a little more than 1 million US viewers.

At least Madchen Amick can make a room in her schedules for Twin Peaks! 😉
Ok show but everything in this genre is going to be judged by Charmed for me.
Nooo I loved his show, I hope that the second season doesn’t have a cliff hanger, most likely will, any news on season 2 airing on 11 here?
S2 should still play on ELEVEN, no dates yet.
cliffhanger… i hate networks like that… why can’t they give the shows advanced warning???
US sites say it ended on a cliffhanger
I’ve seen the first season but not he 2nd yet. Does anyone know if it ends with closure or does it stop on a cliffhanger ?
