Netflix postpones Cosby special as Janice Dickinson alleges rape

A special taped at Cosby's 77th birthday is shelved while Janice Dickinson becomes the latest to allege sexual assault.

2014-11-20_0108Netflix is postponing a special on Bill Cosby following multiple allegations of sexual assault directed at the US comedian.

“At this time we are postponing the launch of the new stand-up comedy special Bill Cosby 77,” a Netflix spokesperson said in a statement.

The special was taped on Cosby’s 77th birthday in July, and was due to air in late November.

Former supermodel Janice Dickinson, 59, is the latest woman to accuse Cosby of sexual assault.

She alleges after a 1982 dinner he gave her wine and a pill that she asked for to alleviate her menstruation pain, before waking up the next morning following an alleged sexual assault.

“I believe all the other women,” she said.

In a statement released this week representatives said the resurfaced allegations are untrue. Cosby himself refused to respond to questions about the claims during an interview on the weekend, leaving lengthy silences when an interviewer offered him the right of reply.
