Q & A: Nov 17

Don't miss this one. Malcolm Turnbull, Jonathan Holmes and Ben Elton discuss ABC funding cuts.

mb_turnbullMonday’s Q & A is a must see.

With Government funding cutbacks to public broadcasters imminent, host Tony Jones will be joined by:

Minister for Communications Malcolm Turnbull, who says the ABC can cut costs without losing programs;
Deputy Opposition Leader Tanya Plibersek, who claims cuts to the ABC are a broken promise;
Journalist Jonathan Holmes, former Media Watch host now defending Auntie;
The Daily Telegraph’s Opinion Editor Sarrah Le Marquand.
And international multimedia star Ben Elton;

9:35pm AEDT Monday on ABC, ABC News 24.

  1. “international multimedia star Ben Elton”

    Ben Elton? You mean the same Ben Elton who had Live From Planet Earth pulled after three disastrous episodes? Since it would be highly unlikely after that costly embarrassment that anybody would ever try to put him on TV again I can only assume that this is a different person entirely.

  2. Looking forward to this episode after Malcolm Turnball big sooky tantrum about the satire sketch on 7.30 .and all the heafty funding slashing going on should be a great episode.
