Report: Kathy Griffin “done deal” as Fashion Police host

Kathy Griffin reportedly secured for Fashion Police but it will no longer be a weekly series.

2014-11-19_1516TMZ is reporting Kathy Griffin replacing Joan Rivers on Fashion Police is “a done deal” but the show will no longer be a weekly series.

It claims E! will air the show during awards shows and other occasions as event programming.

Griffin will join Melissa Rivers, Kelly Osbourne and Giuliana Rancic but “we don’t know the fate of George Kotsiopoulos.”

Griffin has long been touted as the logical replacement for her friend, the late Rivers, noting “She brought a fearlessness and a brand of humour into our homes that we really need.”

  1. Oh she will be popular enough, Kathy is fantastic and if anyone should replace Joan then she can (or Melissa).
    Making it just during awards and events makes sense.
    E needs new shows since Chelsea has left and this is not going to be on as often.
