Seven celebs support Starry Starry Night

Network stars will lend their support to The Alannah & Madeline Foundation's gala fundraiser.

2014-11-22_0021Channel Seven stars will appear at the 17th annual Starry Starry Night charity ball for The Alannah & Madeline Foundation tonight in Melbourne.

Daniel MacPherson and Edwina Bartholomew will host the event for The Alannah & Madeline Foundation, helping to raise money for programs to protect children from violence and bullying.

Also performing are Dancing With The Stars‘ Tai Hara, Eamon Sullivan, David Rodan, Matt Cooper, Kym Johnson, Carmelo Pizzino, Damian Whitewood and Aric Yegudkin.

Also appearing are Simon Reeve, Melissa Bergland, Virginia Gay, Dami Im, Nathaniel Willemse, Jason Heerah, Peter Mitchell, Tim Watson, Jo Silvagni, Jacqueline Felgate and Michael Felgate, Lynne McGranger, Cassie Howarth, Kassandra Clementi, Matthew Richardson, Sam Lane, Katherine Hicks, Geoff ‘Coxy’ Cox, Lee Chan, Torah Bright, April-Rose Pengilly, Melanie Hooper, Robbie Kmetoni, Ash-Leigh Hunter and Jessica Prince.

Managing Director of Seven Melbourne, Lewis Martin, said: “Channel Seven is thrilled to be involved in this iconic Melbourne event. Starry Starry Night is a time where we come together in support of The Alannah and Madeline Foundation and their work caring for children who have experienced or witnessed serious violence. Our team is looking forward to a fantastic night to raise much needed funds.”

The Alannah and Madeline Foundation was set up in memory of Alannah and Madeline Mikac, aged six and three, who were tragically killed with their mother and 32 others at Port Arthur in Tasmania on 28 April 1996. The national charity works to protect children from violence and bullying through prevention programs, and providing care for those affected by violence.
