Airdate: John Lennon: The Messenger

It was 34 years ago this month that the legendary John Lennon was shot dead outside his New York City apartment.

On Monday MAX honours his memory of Lennon with the a documentary John Lennon: The Messenger.

Featuring rare interview footage, Lennon’s innermost thoughts and feelings are explored and we can see his life before and after the rise of success of The Beatles.

The Messenger also features interviews with people who were influential in Lennon’s life and helped him rise to global fame with his musical genius and his famous message of ‘love’ and ‘peace.’
