CNNGo explores Brissy

Even Barack Obama referred to it as ‘BrisVegas’ during the G20.

This week travel series CNNGo explores Brisbane, -following Sydney featured in January 2011 and Melbourne in January 2013.

It begins with renowned street artist Anthony Lister heading up a group of local identities who take viewers on a City Cat boat ride, a New Farm walk and a trip to South Bank beach.

Other locals who show off Queensland’s capital city on CNNGo are “Brisbane Greeter” Blair Allsopp, skipper Wayne Lamb and fashionistas Thessy Kouzoukas and Yiota Karalouka from Sabo Skirt.

Brisbane “must-dos” highlighted during the half-hour show include the Powerhouse arts and cultural hub, Jan Powers Farmers Market, Burnett Lane, the Eat Street Markets and Reverse Garbage as well as Raby Bay and Horseshoe Bay.
