AFC Asian Cup final Live

Socceroos fans can watch the Asian Cup Live on ABC, no matter where they live.

2015-01-29_1542Tomorrow night ABC will air the AFC Asian Cup final Live around the country as the Socceroos take on two-time Asian Cup champions South Korea, in Sydney.

Justin Holdforth, Head of ABC Sport and Events, said: “Congratulations to Ange and the Socceroos on making it through to the big day in Sydney on Saturday. We’ve now reached the climax of the biggest football tournament ever held in Australia, and we are proud to be bringing coverage of the Asian Cup Australia 2015 Final, Live and free-to-air nationally.”

Live on ABC TV and ABC iview, Stephanie Brantz will be joined by a panel of experts including former Socceroos Brett Emerton and Archie Thompson, as well as ABC Grandstand’s Gerard Whateley, with live crosses from the field by Francis Leach.

  1. Simple question folks. Just asking why the style. No need to get excited. This whole site, and in fact most of what most of us deal with is first world problems so let’s put that card back in the deck.

  2. “advertising for free to air networks”… Hmmm not sure how ABC will actually benefit financially for more viewers to their inferior SD coverage. The old HD debate, first world problems!

  3. @cnrmlj – pls see my response to cronker in The Lounge regarding a similarly inflated sense of entitlement and unnecessarily rude and inconsiderate dig at David. As I said there, if you’re unhappy, you can always ask for your money back.

  4. You can also watch it in HD on fox sports.

    Why don’t you provide readers with all viewing options when promoting a show? This and the super bowl story just seem like advertising for free to air networks and their appalling coverage of sport rather than providing readers with all options for viewing their favorite program.
