Not even zombies can survive the axe, as BBC Three ends cult series.

Cult UK drama In the Flesh has been axed by BBC Three.
The zombie series starring Luke Dewberry had aired in Australia on SBS 2.
A BBC statement said, “BBC Three is very proud of the two award-winning series of In the Flesh. However, given there is only budget for one original drama series a year on the channel it won’t be returning.
“We loved the show but have to make hard choices to bring new shows through and create room for emerging talent. Huge thanks to the BAFTA award-winning writer Dominic Mitchell and the superb cast.”

The second season wasn’t as good as the first.
Update: Netflix has suggested that they may do a third season. They just want to determine the demand for another season. Fingers crossed.
This is actually the worst news I’ve heard all day.
The BBC really don’t seem to care about ITF, and they should’ve just said from the start that it was on the cull list.
I have signed a few petitions to get another station/studio on board for a third and final season, so hopefully that happens.
Also, bit of a typo- it’s Luke Newberry, not Luke Mitchell.
Thanks. Created by Dominic Mitchell.
I loved the first miniseries but I haven’t even finished season 2. Didn’t captivate me anywhere near as much the second time around
Erm…I think you mean “starring Luke Dewberry” not Luke Mitchell, who is in The Tomorrow People.
