Which shows do the Brits enjoy watching the most?

2015-01-22_1321 Sheridan Smith, David Tennant, Alan Carr, Downton Abbey, Gogglebox and I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! have all been recognised in the UK.

Coronation Street star William Roache led a special tribute to on-screen wife Anne Kirkbride, who died on Monday.

“She became one of the best-loved and most enduring characters on British TV,” he said.

  1. Must be some strange people around giving Mrs Browns Boys the top in comedy.

I personally can not stand it, but there are people who do like it, no accounting for taste I guess.

  2. I like how they have ‘Talent Show’, Skills Challenge Show’, and ‘Factual’ as separate categories. In recent years at the Logies we’ve had ‘Big Brother’ up against ‘Bondi Rescue’, and ‘X Factor’ in the same category as ‘The Project’ and ‘Ja’mie: Private School Girl’. Huh?

  3. Congratulations to all the winners.
I read the news Sheridan Smith was stuck in a taxi in busy traffic for 3 hours (in her own words) so when she was told she won the award, she cried in the taxi. She arrived 20 minutes late, picked up the award, and burst into tears backstage again. Poor girl.

  4. Very well deserved wins by EastEnders and Maddy Hill. However, Kellie Bright deserved it over Danny Dyer, her performances through the rape storyline have been absolutely incredible. Danny has been wonderful, but not as good as Kellie.

Great to see Alan Carr win, although X Factor scooping the prize over Strictly is laughable.
