tenplay joins Apple TV
TEN's catch-up app is now offering shows from TEN, ELEVEN and ONE via Apple TV.

TEN digital platform, tenplay, is now available on Apple TV, with shows from TEN, ELEVEN and ONE.
Chief Digital Officer, Rebekah Horne, said: “As TEN launches some of the biggest and most compelling entertainment, drama, comedy and sport programs in 2015, our priority with tenplay is to put viewers in control by giving them access to new and established television shows including I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia, Shark Tank, MasterChef Australia, The Bachelor Australia and many, many more – whenever they choose.
“Available on web, iOS and other platforms, Apple TV is a significant step in tenplay’s cross-platform strategy and a great opportunity for streaming growth. In its first year, tenplay became one of the most popular online and mobile entertainment platforms in Australia with more than one million app downloads. Streaming on mobile and tablets now accounts for 50% of our streams and we look forward to more growth in 2015,” she said.

Everytime I try to open theTen Play App on my Apple TV I get a Auth error message flash up and then it closes 🙁 anyone know whats causing this or how to fix it ? I’ve tried a reboot and it states that the software is up to date.
Just had a play with The Graham Norton Show. The interface is absolutely fine, but as @Digitally says, everything is in SD when HD should be an option.
Also @Tom Wood, you can control the apps. There’s a truckload of AppleTV apps I don’t use. Go into the Main Menu settings and you can choose which do or don’t appear.

My gripe is that all the shows are in poor Standard Definition quality. Most shows are shot in HD. Have a look at Crackle or The NBA or NFL – fantastic streaming HD.. Even YouTubequality is better. In this day and age – it astounds me. Even the Cricket Australia app – its shocking with bugged TEN Live all over the Big bash highlights…..
absolutely brilliant! Watched it last night, worked great. Now if others suit please, especially ABC iView!
Let’s hope SBS on Demand and ABC iView be in the Apple TV.

What a shame they don’t have anything worth watching.
Tenplay windows phone app is still not working. Still doesn’t register an internet connection and is unusable. As per comments in Windows phone App store its been like this since last weekend. Wonder whether ten are going to fix it?
Now they need to make it work fir Chromecast and we are set. It seems stupid to me that the ABC is ahead of all the commercials on catch up TV services.
Like all new apps on Apple TV it automatically appears when you turn Apple TV on Tom. The TenPlay app works a treat. After a few initial hiccups in the early days of Tenplay, Ten have done very well with their digital platform. By far the best out of the commercial networks.
You can remove them from your screen if you want to or reorder themselves.

That’s very interesting – how will it work? I don’t thnk you can control the ‘apps’ on Apple TV so will it automatically be added to Australian systems?
