  1. @moonserf, the main thing you would need would be a media organisation with the rights to ambient noise in the stadium who were willing to broadcast it. If it made the audio available online, you could find a way to sync it.

  2. According to the Cricket World Cup ticketing site, Australia’s match against Afghanistan will start at 2.30pm Perth time (5.30pm AEDT). So it means GEM’s telecast could finish at 1am Saturday in Sydney and Melbourne, thus cricket fans will have to stay up late to see the end of the match.

  3. I’m glad Nine at least are showing all Australian matches and not just cherry picking the ones against good opposition. Channel Nine could of shown the other matches not involving Australia on Gem but seem to have some agreement with Fox Sports just like with the Rugby World Cup where Foxsports show every match live and Exclusitivity on most of the games.

  4. A what if, what if a smart tv manufacturer invented an app that would allow a viewer to turn off the commentry and turn up the crowd and other cricket sounds. Would it be better or worse?

  5. So 9 are doing an ABC/Asian Cup and only showing Australian games?? Imagine if 7 only showed tennis matches that only Australians played in…
    What a joke :-/
