Update: The Good Wife, Hawaii Five-0

US dramas are resting next week, thanks to a TEN amendment.

2015-02-19_0039TEN has made an amendment to its line-up for next Wednesday night, removing both The Good Wife and Hawaii Five-0 from the schedule.

They have been replaced with a movie repeat This Means War (2012) from 9:30pm.

It’s not clear why the change has been made, but both shows are still in the schedule a week later.

  1. I’m sad to see The Good Wife rates so poorly. We’ve been watching and loving it since Day 1, and will stick it out until it disappears. I think it’s very hard to keep an audience for an ongoing story for years. Most people have the attention span of a knat.

    1. Yes you’d think that after a fortnight Ten would just list I’m A… on One and stop this silly game of listing other shows and then replacing them with Im A… in the EPG at the last minute just to piss of the their audience.

They have started White Collar’s final season and there are only 4 eps left. Surely it can’t hard to find somewhere to show them. It’s not like Ones lineup isn’t full of episodes that been shown on TV a hundred times before.

  2. I tip my hat off to Ten for their commitment to The Good Wife considering how poorly it rates (under 200,000 if I recall correctly). I don’t watch it myself (though I’d be tempted to grab the series on DVD once the show ends), but it’s nice to see a network committed to what seems like a quality drama, for better or for worse.

  3. Pretty simple reason for the change, they don’t have a Good Wife episode available to air. Good Wife has been off air in the US since January and doesn’t return until March 1.
