Oops. Media sniggering over “penis shaped” dress.

Oh how they love a good news anchor yarn…

International news sites have suggested an outfit worn by Natarsha Belling was ‘penis-shaped’ due to its collar design.

Media including the Huffington Post, The Mirror, E! Online, Daily Mail, US Magazine, Metro and even multiple foreign-language sites have all filed on a screenshot, circulating on social media. Most refer to the line that “Once you see it, you can’t unsee it.”

On Facebook the item has been ‘liked’ over 110,000 times.

E! Online asks, “Also, how many camera guys and gals, stage managers, producers and techs do you think saw Natarsha’s neckline and either didn’t notice it or noticed it but didn’t say anything?”

But in the current cost-cutting environment where crews have been severely depleted it’s not clear how many were around to notice at all.

Hopefully the lovely Ms. Belling, who has a great sense of humour, will be able to look back on it in jest once the headlines have faded.

Lucky they didn’t get wind of Carrie Bickmore’s doodle….
