With the results of the AFL Anti-Doping Tribunal set to be handed down on Tuesday both Seven and Nine are adding AFL specials by Talking Footy and Footy Classified.

With the AFL Anti-Doping Tribunal handing down its decision on 34 past and present Essendon players next Tuesday, a special edition of Talking Footy will tell the fans what it means for the players, Essendon FC, the AFL and the game itself.

All of the fallout from the biggest story in the AFL in the last three years will be analysed.

Luke Darcy hosts this special edition of Talking Footy with Essendon legend Tim Watson along with special guests.

8pm Nine. Footy Classified:
The biggest story in AFL history reaches its highly anticipated conclusion on Tuesday as the Essendon Football Club finally learns its fate.

On the special night and time of Tuesday at 8.00pm on Channel Nine, the award-winning Footy Classified returns for 2015 with “The Verdict”.

From the beginning of this saga Footy Classified has covered this story like no other – and now football’s number one news breakers and opinion makers Garry Lyon, Caroline Wilson, Matthew Lloyd and Craig Hutchison will make this a season return not to be missed.

  1. I don’t mind Tim Watson, but no matter what the verdict, I’m not looking forward to seeing him on this particular special. He’s the father of the Essendon captain and is severely compromised with what he can and can’t say.

  2. Football fans should be looking forward to round 1 finally arriving. Instead there will be another season taken over by Essendon rubbish as I highly doubt this will be concluded on Tuesday. Surely footy classified isn’t going to dedicated a whole episode to Essendon rubbish.
