A number of Amazing Race fans have been enquiring and we finally have a start date for the show: 11:00pm Thursday March 12th on Seven.
This season revolves around entirely 11 “dating duos” – 5 of whom are blind dates who have never met before.
Season 26 premiered in the US on February 25 but if there are any pre-emptions in the US, we could potentially make up some lost time.
“Great Way To Start A Relationship”
This season will feature 11 teams of all dating duos with a twist! Some are preexisting couples while other duos will meet for the first time at the starting line on the most extreme blind date ever!

Thanks again for the update!
Without you I wouldn’t know!
I don’t check the EPGs every week!
I agree with everyone else 7s programming is abysmal!
there are 2 shows I love Survivor and Amazing Race. Survivor is fast tracked and on at a regular time
Amazing Race..oh dear. Not fast tracked and what a ridiculous time to air the show. Why not put it on at an earlier time, you have enough channels to do this. You even show an old series Sunday in the afternoon,
Promote the show more..get a bigger audience Channel 7.
Friends of mine have given up watching because of the timeslot. 11pm on aThursday night!!!!!!
Gee, about time Ch 7. Agree with what others have said, if 9 can fast track Survivor on GO on the same day it airs in the US don’t see why 7 can’t do the same with Amazing Race on their other channels. They are very slack with this show.
Gave up on TAR several years ago due to 7’s erratic scheduling.
I agree with all the other comments – you have 7mate, why not use it and put it on at a decent time. Put it on at 11pm – everyone records it and skips through the ads. It is a 7:30 or 8:30 show – if it doesn’t fit on the main channel because of the obsession with MKR, use your digital channel. I guess we should be thankful they are even showing it at all – I am enjoying the repeats on Sunday at lunchtime (series 11 is showing)……….so much better than most of what Channel 7 shows.
What’s the logic in Seven buying the rights to a multi Emmy award winning show, and then shoving it in such a bad time slot? I thought it would be better suited for a more prime time spot on 7mate (and in HD too!)
Better then last seasons timeslot just! Still think its perfect multichannel fare – even on a Friday Night at 6.30pm would do
Too late 7. If they took a leaf out of 9’s book on how they aired Survivor (ie same day or even within a few days of original airing) I would have defiantily watch but seeing as they put it on at 11, weeks after US airing while yet another round of repetitive MKR instant restaurants airs in primetime.
Great news! Thanks David.
Too late Seven. Yes I’m still watching but not on your station. You should have at least given us an airdate before it started screening in the US.
Yes finally!
