America has dished out its 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards with Days of our Lives and The Young and the Restless both tieing in the Outstanding Drama category.

Amongst other winners were The Ellen DeGeneres Show for Outstanding Talk Show / Entertainment and The Bold and the Beautiful as Outstanding Drama Series Writing.

Betty White received a Lifetime Achievement Award.

  1. I don’t watch Daytime TV any more (oh to be a student again) however I notice that Peggy McCay was nominated she is 85yrs old and has played Caroline Brady for 32 years it’s a pity that she didn’t win.
