Social Media:
TV Week live from the red carpet and behind the scenes:
The magazine behind the TV Week Logie Awards will be working around the clock to upload all the red carpet action, behind-the-scenes shots and star videos from the glitzy event immediately. Fans will be able to watch the night unfold and interact as it happens on TV Week’s website and social media sites.

The TV Week Twitter GIF Booth on the red carpet
In an Australian first, TV Weekand Twitter Australia have partnered up to share the glitz and the glamour of the red carpet as it happens – giving Twitter users at home an exclusive first glimpse of the stars as they hit the red carpet. The booth consists of a camera that takes four snaps of your favourite celebs in quick succession, then combines and Tweets them out as a GIF action shot straight from the @TVWeekmag Twitter account with the hashtag #TVWeekLogies.

Instagram Gravity Room
In the pre- and after-parties, Instagram will be hosting the hottest new celebrity hangout, the Gravity Room. Celebs can pose in a room that looks like gravity has been stripped away, posting the quirky photos straight to their personal social accounts using the official hashtag #tvweeklogies. TV Week will also be uploading the shots directly to their Facebook account and website.

Facebook Video Q&A Box
For the first time ever, fans can interact directly with the stars on the night via the TV Week Facebook page. In the lead-up to the Logies, TV Weekfans have been invited to submit questions via Facebook. On Sunday night, a selection of those questions will be chosen at random. The box records a video of the stars answering the fans’ questions, with their answers posted for all to see on the official TV Week Facebook page, facebook.com/tvweekmag.

Each of these initiatives has been implemented to enhance the Logies experience and involve all the dedicated fans who vote for their favourite personalities and shows every year.

  1. The Nine bias has become tiresome. Scott Cam winning last year was comical to say the least and to see him nominated again this year along with Hamish and Andy just goes to show Australia is very short on talent at this point in time.
On a side note, the Daily Telegraph’s article about 7’s celebs snubbing the Logies is disappointing as are Michael Pell’s comments. Unlike him to miss the limelight.

  2. I know how it’s going to end – a Gold Logie win for a Nine personality, followed by the one-episode series “Kings Of Comedy” – which will have it’s copyright date removed.

  3. That presenters list (apart from Waleed) looks straight out of 2001. Not that I’m expecting Channel 9 to be current or groundbreaking, but how about someone new gets a chance?

  4. The Logies summary on NInes EPG mentions that Scott Cam and both Hamish and Andy are up for Gold, but no other nominees are mentioned. I would really like to see the Logies go to another Network next year, or at least alternate between the three commercial networks.

    1. Agreed!! Used to work much better when it moved around between the networks, less bias. Got to admit I don’t watch it anymore though.. Doesn’t hold the same interest that it used to.

  5. Nice to see a Richie tribute.

Im actually going to be watching the MKR semi so I will record the logies and im looking forward to the home and away induction.
