That was quick.
Whilst it isn’t officially renewed, TEN is already casting for a 2016 season of MasterChef Australia, less than a week out from its Season 7 premiere.
Applications are now open for the next series of MasterChef Australia, so if you’re passionate about food and cooking, this is your chance to shine. The aprons are ready- all that’s left to do is put your name on one of them.
Filming is scheduled to take place between approximately October / November 2015 and May 2016 for approximately 30 weeks with a break over Christmas and New Year.
You must be aged 18 years or above on 1 October 2015. And as one bloke forgot to mention last week, you do have to be an amateur.
Closing date for applications is Friday 14th August 2015.

I respectfully disagree that Masterchef is one of those “rubbish programs” of which there are many. This year’s MC is keeping the standard high and away from the tabloid selling character amplifying gumph that drove me away from ‘that other’ major cooking show.
Ditto. MC is one of the very few reality shows that are informative and entertaining at the same time, may it long continue!
As long as people keep watching these rubbish programs they are going to keep producing them
I don’t think they care if you don’t watch it.
