Australia to perform #12th at Eurovision

Running order favours Russia & Italy with Australia sitting in the centre of the field.

“Last night I was bitten by the Eurovision bug, being in that room and feeling the energy,” -Guy Sebastian.

The running order for the Eurovision Grand Final puts Australia at #12 of 27 acts on Sunday -which is not too bad given we were going to land somewhere in the first 14 acts. Thank goodness we are not #2..

This list, which was finalised following the second Semi Final, will seriously enhance the chances of hot contenders Russia (#25) and Italy (#27).

  1. Actually 12 th is pretty good. Sweden is the fave and they are 10th. At 11th is a lovely little ballad from Cyprus and then its our uptempo dance entry. We have no chance of winning but this hurts Sweden’s chances.

  2. Its a great spot for us. We are going last in the first half of the show. They are really pushing our chances. Russia and Italy will be hard to beat where they were placed in the order. Can’t wait to see how we go.

  3. Considering we had to be in the top half it’s not a bad spot, although it’s a shame we’re before Belgium. Hope we don’t get forgotten after the Lorde song!
