Australian Indigenous Surfing Titles on NITV

For the first time ever, surfing fans can catch the Indigenous Surfing Titles Finals from Bell's Beach on NITV.

All this week NITV is broadcasting the Australian Indigenous Surfing Titles Finals from Bells Beach, Victoria.

There are Live updates online and highlights in the evening around 11:30pm (tonight 12:45am).

Mark Ella, NITV Head of Internal Productions and Sport, says: “NITV is committed to bringing viewers the best in Indigenous sport and we are thrilled to partner with Surfing Victoria to showcase some of Australia’s best surfing talent to a national audience.”

 

From Monday 25 to Friday 29 May, the national Indigenous broadcaster will bring viewers daily updates, competitor interviews and news across its digital platforms with live streaming of the Finals event. The channel will follow the digital coverage with a special broadcast recap and Around the 44 competitor discussion show on Sunday 7 June.

The week-long tournament, hosted by Surfing Victoria, will showcase the top 32 Indigenous open males, the top 16 masters men and the top eight open women from across Australia and will crown an Australian Indigenous Champion in all three divisions. For the fourth consecutive year, the event will be held at the iconic surfing location, Bells Beach.
