RocKwiz is back for its 13th season on SBS later this month, featuring Julia Zemiro and Brian Nankervis.

With a 6 episode run, each episode is dedicated entirely to a decade from the 1950s – 2000s.

Performers include Paul Kelly, Julia Stone, Connie Mitchell, Vance Joy, John Butler, Emma Donovan, Normie Rowe and Kate Ceberano.

Contestants will be drawn from the audience on the night, Dugald will be there to tune guitars and hold up scores, plus the stellar RocKwiz Orkestra – consisting of Peter Luscombe, Mark Ferrie and new recruits Ashley Naylor (Even) and Clio Renner (Triple J Unearthed artist) – will provide their customary and classy rocking rhythms throughout the night.

These special themed episodes are filmed in front of a live, lucky and loud audience at the show’s spiritual home, The Gershwin Room at St Kilda’s Esplanade Hotel and will screen on Saturday nights from May 30, 8.30pm, on SBS ONE.

  1. Yay. I’m surprised they have already had 13 seasons. I guess i was a bit of a late comer to Rockwiz, having only gotten into it, the last 2 or 3 years.

  2. Excellent news and great to see new episodes back on Saturday Night instead of Monday Night, I love RocKwiz and the format of decades this time around sounds like a great idea. Shame about it only being 6 episodes, however with The Espy closing for renovations next week (Sunday May 17th) and not opening again until Summer, this was likely all they could fit in.
