Another Nine graph, another Nine win.

Nine has now sent a graph indicating its traction in 6pm News audiences, compared to Seven.

Nine’s chart shows viewers aged 25-54 for every month since the start of 2013 (including non-ratings weeks).

As I’ve noted before, at least there is consensus on the colours -with Nine in blue and Seven in red.

That’s about as much as they can agree on!

  1. The only thing that I get from this graph is that over a two year period (Jan 2013-15 or Jun 2013-15), both networks have lost 100,000 viewers and they’re prob not coming back. That’s the real story here.

  2. This is just childish. Viewers don’t care all that much about stupid graphs.
Nine has to promote their news because most of their other programming is utter rubbish.
Nightly 1hr news is excessive. Many viewers just want a tight bulletin with major news headlines, some sport if that’s of interest to them and brief weather.
Nine must have missed media watch this week where it had a story that quite a few viewers were getting their news only from facebook rather than traditional sources.
Nine is the worst commercial network in how they treat their viewers.

  3. Why is this no surprise, more copying, more stupidity, do people really care about this kind of thing, put on some decent programmes and brag about that instead of who’s got the most watched news.
