The last ever episodes of Top Gear with Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May will air tomorrow morning at 5am on BBC Knowledge, in a simulcast with the UK.
They will be repeated at 7:30pm.
These comprise footage filmed before Jeremy Clarkson was fired, with studio links featuring Hammond and May.
But Clarkson has already taken aim at the BBC’s handiwork.
“At 8pm tomorrow BBC2 is screening an edition of Top Gear cobbled together form two films that were made before I was fired,” he has written in The Sun.
“One of them is quite good.”
Meanwhile all three presenters are tipped to resurface in a new motoring format, possibly with ITV or Netflix.
Richard Hammond says the three are not yet done as a trio, but admits the final episode was tough.
“I hope people will watch it and think ‘Wow, that was amazing’,” he told the Sydney Morning Herald.
“It broke my heart, I don’t think I’ll be able to watch it.”

I watched it and was in tears ……. of laughter! Absolutely hilarious!
Jeremy Clarkson has put them in this position lol all over not having a hot meal!!
I bet the BBC now has a serious gaping hole in its revenue budget
Can we assume May and Hammond were contractually obligated to do this?
