Celebrity chef Neil Perry is joining Seven’s upcoming Restaurant Revolution.

News Corp reports he will mentor teams running pop-up restaurants around the country.

“I really love the teaching aspect and watching people see and find out what it is like to create a restaurant from the ground up,” said Perry.

Perry says he has been asked numerous times to become involved in other TV series.

In 2010 he denied criticising MasterChef following quotes attributed in a newspaper article. He also appeared on Iron Chef Australia.

Restaurant Revolution will be hosted by Adelaide chef Jock Zonfrillo.
