A priceless moment this morning on The Morning Show when advertorials presenter Jamie Malcolm had no idea he was Live on air.
He was caught reading and discussing where to see Penguins: Antarctica or the Arctic.
“It’d be warmer up north,” he marvels.
“Cheaper to go to Phillip Island. See ’em there.”
Watch for the moment his guest clears her throat to try and alert him to the fact they are On Air.

Some of them are live. I’ve seen Larry & Kylie chat with Karen (ad girl on Mornings) after her ads a few times. Most are pre recorded though.
is that the same jamie that used to do the same segment on mornings with Kerri Anne?

Hilarious magazine toss. I don’t think it was fake.
Staged. The toss of the newspaper over the shoulder is too silly to be natural.

I thought these advertorials were recorded.
@CherryPizza agree looks like it is deliberate, and kinda bad acting, which is odd as they can usually come across so enthusiastic about the nonsense they are selling
i cant remember ever seeing an advertorial being done live when i watched the show

I’m sure it’s fake, they played the exact same advertorial last week – also “you’ve gotta make the most of your life now” as the first phrase following the “banter” is obviously referring to going and seeing the penguins.
Mission accomplished though by getting people talking about it!

I hope he doesn’t spend all that money to go to the Arctic. Penguins don’t live there, just the Antarctic and other Southern areas.
Obviously not a fan of old Warner Bros. cartoons. Someone should sit him down and show him ‘8 Ball Bunny’…
