Channel Nine Adelaide screens another crime special, SA’s Most Wanted, this Sunday presented by Brenton Ragless.

Hosted by Brenton Ragless live from Police Headquarters, SA’s Most Wanted gives unprecedented access to viewers as police open the files on some of the 113 cold cases dating back to the 1960s.

For the first time, the sons of murdered National Crime Authority Detective-Sergeant Geoffrey Bowen speak exclusively to SA’s Most Wanted about their glimmer of hope that even after 21 years, their father’s killer will one day be convicted.

We head north to look at the murder of Coober Pedy opal miner Andrew Williamson in 2003 and the vital piece of evidence that is being re-examined using new forensic procedures.

And what did happen to father-of three Peter Timmermanis on July 17, 1991? He drove a truck to the Yorke Peninsula – but never returned. Detectives reveal the sinister motive behind his presumed murder.

SA’s Most Wanted also speaks with the Director of Public Prosecutions and the chief of Australia’s super agency, the Australian Crime Commission, about the armoury being used to get these killers off the streets.

Sunday at 5.30pm on Nine (Adelaide).
