The only unwanted calls I get since registering are from overseas sweat shop call centres, with VOIP phone, making it look like a local call. The 3 second delay and accent given them away quickly though.
Get rid of your landline and get a VoIP service with a new number. No randoms ever call.
The Do Not Call Register is as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike. Totally useless. Will be watching, as usual.
