Carla Bonner returns to Neighbours
Fan fave Steph Scully returns to Ramsay Street in October.

Neighbours favourite Carla Bonner is returning to the series, set to hit screens in October.
Bonner played tomboy Steph Scully from 1999 to 2010, notably falling for Drew (Dan Paris) -partner of her best friend Libby (Kym Valentine).
Steph first left the series after Steph was jailed for manslaughter, returning in a 2 month stint in 2013 only to be charged with kidnapping. Despite her history of bad decisions, she remains a firm fan favourite.
Series Producer, Jason Herbison said: “Steph left Erinsborough under dramatic circumstances after she was arrested for stealing Lucas and Vanessa’s baby. Her return to Ramsay Street will be explosive and her presence will divide the residents.
“It is wonderful having Carla back on set permanently, she is the consummate professional,” he said.
Bonner said: “I feel like I’ve come home. I feel like a girl who flew the nest to see and explore the world, and I’ve returned an enriched woman.”
Bonner, who has never strayed far from the TEN family, recently wrote a dating book called Hook, Line and Sink Her that is currently being developed into a 12-part online series.

Not a favorite of this fan, her character was destryoyed by the writers in the last year or so of her original stint, and in her 2013 return she just made every one who knew her feel uncomfortable. Not sure how she will fit back in on the show, but intersted to see how it goes. As her real life son is now in the show playing Harley, will this be only the second time relatives have been in the main cast at the same time? (the Blakeny twins being the only other time that I know of) .
I loved Steph before she was sent to prison, but I agree her return was fairly lackluster. There was far too much focus on her relationship with Lucas (which I completely forgot about), when I felt there was far more tension and drama to be mined out of her relationship with Toadie and Sonya.
Just need Kym Valentine back permanently and all will be well again
Yay one of my favorite characters so glad shes coming back. Steph’s last story line where she had a psychotic breakdown was a great story and Carla played the part perfectly.
