This week The Feed travels to the Shenhua mine site where locals are considering legal action against a coal mining project and Marc Fennell meets Cara Delevingne and Gillian Armstrong.

Willing to “Go to War” – Opponents of the Shenhua Mine Dig In
The Government has just approved a $1.2 billion coal mining project in the NSW Liverpoool Plains, and while the Chinese mine owners are happy, farmers, environmentalists, shock jocks, locals and even the government’s own Agriculture minister are not. The Feed travels to the Shenhua mine site in north-western NSW where locals are considering legal action to stop the mine’s development. But is it too late to stop it?

More Than Just Eyebrows: Cara Delevingne
She is a bona-fide supermodel with the world’s most famous eye-brows a catwalk career estimates to be worth over $3.5 million – and she just pulled the plug on it all. Cara’s even dropped her agent so she can fulfil a childhood goal: to act. Cara is funny, idiosyncratic and she’s sitting down with Marc Fennell to talk about the dark side of modelling, how she nearly ended up starring in one of the biggest movies of the last decade and, of course, her first ever headlining role in the brand new film Paper Towns.

Gillian Armstrong sits down with Marc Fennell
Marc Fennell sits down with Australian director Gillian Armstrong – one of the most famous Australians in Hollywood you’ve never heard of. She’s directed Cate Blanchett, Ralph Fiennes and Winona Ryder. Her latest film is a documentary called Women He’s Undressed about Australian costume designer and three-time Oscar winner Orry-Kelly, responsible for clothing in Casablanca, The Maltese Falcon and Oklahoma!

Weeknights at 7:30pm on SBS 2.
