FOX Sports has launched an app that offers video highlights, live scores and stats, enhanced statistics and analysis, fixtures and results, breaking news, and exclusive editorial features.

Users will get content and analysis from across 14 sports and over 140 competitions while FOX Sports News 500 channel streams for free.

FOX Sports CEO Patrick Delany said: “FOX Sports is Australia’s leading sports provider – no one does sport better than us and fans love our depth and breadth of content.

“We’ve listened to sports fans and know there is a demand for an app that covers all the big sports.

“With more than 4.5 million Australians who don’t just follow one sport but around three to four, the all-in-one FOX Sports app will be the ultimate destination for them to get all the information they want.

“The ability to personalise the content and tailor to the way fans like to follow their sport and their team will really set this app apart from the rest. Features like alerts on score changes across multiple matches, notifications when games are close or breaking news on their favourite teams, will make every fan fall in love with our new app,” Delany added.

The FOX Sports app is free to download and includes live scores, enhanced statistics, breaking news, exclusive editorial features, video highlights for all major sports and live streaming of FOX Sports News.

FOX Sports’ digital subscribers will be able to access additional content including match replays and entertainment shows on demand.

Users will be able to download the app by searching “FOX Sports Australia” in the App Store or Google Play.

  1. Do you have to be a foxtel subscriber to access fox sports news livestream through the app?

Shame that there is no windows phone app. I hardly use the fox sports mobile website on windows phone because the video doesn’t work properly on it.
