Airdate: Tony Bennett’s New York

Shortly before the channel winds down (October 31), the Bio channel will present a 2 hour special Tony Bennett’s New York.

This Australian Premiere special will screen Tuesdays from October 27 at 8.30pm.

Tony Bennett is a living showbiz legend. The King of Cool worked with all the jazz greats and is the last of his generation still singing. He is also quintessential New York. A brilliant raconteur, he talks for the first time about his extraordinary life and career, looking back over 50 years of stardom and what he calls “The Great American Songbook”. This film portrait includes specially shot performance footage, terrific archive and interviews with people who have known him all his life, as well as tributes from his new generation of fans.
