Nine has now confirmed its first panel members for its new panel show, The Verdict.

It will include a mix of regular and guest panelists and is being recorded early on Thursday night ahead of its screening.

Chair Karl Stefanovic will be joined by the panel below to discuss a variety of topics fuelling debate around the country including: should sports stars guilty of a crime be allowed back on the field and why does a teenager turn into a terrorist?

· Mark Latham – former federal Labor leader and stay at home dad
· Sandy Rea – criminal psychologist
· Senator Jacqui Lambie – Independent Tasmanian Senator
· Campbell Brown– former Australian Rules footballer
· Jamila Rizvi – Editor-in-Chief of the Mamamia Network of websites
· Anne Henderson- Deputy Director of The Sydney Institute and editor of The Sydney Papers and co-editor of The Sydney Institute Quarterly.
· Dr. Anne Aly- Australian political scholar, academic and counter-terrorism expert

  1. Campbell Brown– former Australian Rules footballer – “should sports stars guilty of a crime be allowed back on the field”. Hmmm, be an unbiased opinion there. How is his mate going? The one whose jaw he broke in a bar in LA?

  2. Is this show being made by Eddie McGuire’s company ?
    Only reason I can think why that knucklehead Campbell Brown is on.
    Odd considering he’s on Sevens VFL coverage,which is a McGuire production.

  3. Whilst I’m loathe to disparage a new show before I’ve seen it…….with Karl, Mark, Jacqui and Jamila there’s so many reasons not to watch. Sounds like lowest common denominator viewing.
