Bumped: Grey’s Anatomy, Blindspot.

Two programming amendments for Seven from Sunday.

2015-11-22_2021

Heads up Grey’s Anatomy fans, the show is moving from Mondays to 11pm Sundays after tonight.

The team of doctors work on a high stakes case of a long time patient, adding additional pressure to an already tense environment. Meanwhile, Bailey wants Ben to kick out their new roommate, and Arizona is eager to get back into the dating world with a new wingman.

Meanwhile Blindspot will also move to 8:30pm Sunday nights from December 6th (it still airs at 8:30pm this Wednesday and next). Quantico continues this Sunday in a double episode.

The team gets cut off from the FBI on a remote mission.

One of Jane’s tattoos sends the team to a remote location where they find themselves face to face with a dangerous criminal (guest star Lou Diamond Phillips) in a case that puts the strained relationship of Jane and Weller to the test and threatens to expose Mayfair’s secrets.

Meanwhile, Patterson breaks the rules to solve a tattoo puzzle.

  1. I feel really sorry for viewers who have to chase their favourite drama series around the schedule, or get left hanging for months when the show is pulled off air.

    1. 8:30pm Sun is higher profile slot than 8:30pm Wed., and the only drama competition is Limiteless (303k last night). Blindspot is being promoted because Quantico’s ratings have fallen.

Seven said Castle wouldn’t be on in non-ratings (its run just finished 1 week early). Castle may only be rating 300k, but there are a lot of shows rating 170k or less when put on at 9:30pm, so they want to keep the remain eps of the first block, to screen with the second half of the season in 2016.

      1. Sometimes I can justify what you say if I relax my own opinion and I do honestly try to do that, but Pertinax, you are seriously working for one of the commercial networks (perhaps Seven), either that or you are just one of the best spinsters in the business with how you look at the bright side of these increasingly ridiculous situations that the networks put themselves in…
This is a perfect example, why mess with blindspot? It’s now an established Wednesday night show so why screw with viewers by moving days… And grey’s anatomy? Why does a move to Sunday night at 11:00 pm need to happen? It’s just unquestionably dumb.

  2. ch 7 and 9 are the worst, in a matter of weeks they have moved certain shows from 8:30 to 9:30 to 10:30 and even 11:30! shows like Heroes that might have done better originally. can’t believe Grey’s doesn’t get any respect and I don’t even watch the show. even crime shows new or old are getting bumped up to 11 at the latest.

this is why they need to revamp 7two and use it like they used to for lower rating shows. if they try out a show in a early slot for channel 7 and if it doesn’t rate after a few weeks move it to the same slot on 7two! don’t waste time on British shows, give them to Abc. there have been British shows that were on Gem and have been given back to Abc. I’m sure the ratings will be the same on 7two as they are on 7 anyway.

  3. …and they wonder why US shows are not rating well.
The ratings for Blindspot will fall as people don’t know about the change and they won’t return…another show ruined by lazy, incompetent programmers.

Can you address with the networks this issue David when you interview them?
