  1. Cant get Life in the WIN viewing area. Don’t understand why these regionals can’t do there own channels. Win owns the rights to All Crawford programs and could be broadcasting those. Not that there is interest to me…

    1. I saw that too. I was surprised as I listened to a mediaweek podcast recently with a nine programmer where he mentioned that 9 life wasn’t initially going to have any content that had aired on the main channel. He even went on to say that they removed a show from 9 life that had had a few episodes on the main channel to stick with that. I guess that thinking went out the window. Not a good way to launch.

  2. They might as well have named the channel “Construction”. I didn’t realise that building and renovating homes and hotels was the end all and be all of “life”. ABC and SBS regularly broadcast programmes that are far more reflective of the diverse tapestry of the human experience.

  3. I am a little unsure why people are bagging this so much, some of these programs are the most popular foxtel programs, so by bringing it to FTA it opens it up to a lot of Australia that can’t afford it.
If you don’t like the programming don’t watch it, it’s that simple…..
