Cold Feet is the latest drama to be getting a TV revival in 2016.
Ex-star Fay Ripley has confirmed a new series of the ITV comedy-drama, which followed the lives of three couples going through the highs and lows of romance and friendship.
The series was a huge hit during its four and a half year run between 1998 and 2003.
“Well yes, I think we’re off and away, I think I can say that!” she confirmed.
“I didn’t hesitate because it’s been floating around as an idea for so long.
“My only hesitation is that one hopes it’s not going to be rubbish.
“Ten years have passed, anything could have happened,” she explained. “I still have a relationship with John [Thomson]. I reckon we’ll pretty much pick up where we were. We’re still friends.
“The fondness we have for each other is probably key to that character. That’s if they’re still married? Who knows?”
Fellow stars James Nesbitt, Hermione Norris and Robert Bathurst are also expected to reprise their roles.

I liked the TVM. The series quickly became a soap which I stopped watching with S2.
Why? Helen Baxendale won’t be in it, her character Rachel was killed in series 5, and she was one of the strengths of the orginal series. I guess they will find a new love interest for Adam(james nesbitt’s character).
Completely agree – Helen Baxendale played the best character in my opinion – the chemistry she had with James Nesbitt was amazing.
Best television news this year. I loved this show.
Same here. Great news.
Though agree it was deteriorating into soap in the last series.
Loved James Nesbitt in this part – still the best role he has been in by far.
Never much liked Helen Baxendales’ character, Rachel, so no great loss that she won’t be returning.
God no!
