It’s good to ‘finish’ the year with some happy news….
Nearly a year after he was critically injured in a car accident, The Morning Show’s Glenn Wheeler has been discharged from St George Hospital and Liverpool Brain Injury Unit.
Wheeler was left with serious head and leg injuries and placed in an induced coma after he was hit by a van while riding his motor scooter in Woolooware in Sydney’s south on February 1.
“After 321 days in Hospital, Dad was finally discharged today for good,” son Dane Wheeler posted on Facebook.
“Was an amazing moment and we are thrilled to have him home – he is absolutely pumped! Here’s to further progress and better health mate..”
Bravo!

Dear Glenn our thoughts are with you and how great it must be to be back sleeping in your own bed ! This will be the best therapy of all. I hope to catch up with you soon and share good wishes and good thoughts for 2016. You are a true champion and I am sending you all my best vibes and strength.
Great news…best therapy….home for Christmas….with family….
Thank you David Knox.
Poor guy, what a terrible year stuck in hospital. At least he is home now to celebrate Christmas and what will be a significantly more brighter new year.
Thanks for the updates, hardly saw a thing about this on the TV news over the last year.
There was a big benefit held a while back that was in the news.
