Cancel all thoughts of Paleo bad press affecting decisions by Seven execs ….My Kitchen Rules judges Pete Evans and Manu Feildel have signed a new two year deal with Seven.

The duo addressed media last night at the Melbourne launch of MKR at Grossi Florentino.

“We have signed on for two more years,” Evans told guests. “But we couldn’t do it without our fellow judges” before introducing Colin Fassnidge, Karen Martini, Guy Grossi and Liz Egan.

“We work with the most talented chefs in the country and again it’s an absolute pleasure to meet our families around the dinner table.”

Evans may have been schmoozing the Melbourne media but he also said of the 4 Victorian teams in attendance, “You could actually make the whole series just with these four teams, because they are the most powerful, the most confident and the best cooks that we’ve got on the series, I think.”

Feildel is also tipped to film another travel series in coming weeks.

The show returns Monday at 7:30pm on Seven.

  1. Another good reason not to watch it – although I do dip in every now and then. I don’t like either of them, completely lacking in personality. A very boring pair. A complete contrast to the MasterChef judges.
