    1. Don’t know why it’s “a month too late” with many people away on holidays. Anyway, I gather Madam Secretary survives, thanks to the TEN promo spoiler.

        1. But I live in Australia not the US. Why does our schedule have to reflect theirs? I’m happy with Ten returning Madam Secretary/Good Wife/Hawaii Five 0 during first week of ratings, great to see them show consistency.

          1. I’m not sure that x files viewers who have had their show delayed by 6 days are all too happy about having to see spoilers due to tens delay for ratings. And madam secretary will have been delayed a month.

I’ve had this debate with you in the tv lounge before. Your happy to have 10 show shows when it suits them whereas I would prefer to watch shows on a US schedule where they are not spoilt by spoilers and are in a timely fashion. One month is not timely. I’m not going to have this debate again.

My previous response was to Jason who said their shouldn’t be good content in January when people are on holidays. Well not everyone is on holidays and the good ratings for the big bash shows there is audience for tv in January. There’s just not much on.

          2. My ‘debate’ is that TV Networks are commercial enterprises. Why would one that wants to be profitable (bottom line) give away programming they are paying top dollar for? Do I think TV Networks are sometimes slow programming shows, yes. Ten has used the BBL to launch their Q1 programming, same goes for 7 & 9. We might not like it but in our 40 week ratings cycle, that’s the way it goes. We aren’t the US!

          3. If you want to watch shows on a US schedule then either get yourself the capability to do so (don’t know how, doesn’t interest me). If you cant resist looking up spoilers then that’s your bad luck really. I don’t want to have this discussion again either.

          4. The internet is global. To think that Australia isn’t part of the global internet and that shows have to run on an Australia schedule is an outdated idea. Head to the channel 10 facebook page and read all the angry comments on the x files not being shown in a timely manner. I’m not in the minority. Leaving it a week or two from the end of the big bash to the start of some of these shows is hardly using big bash momentum.

I didn’t start this debate again. You replied to my comment knowing full well we differ on opinions on this matter. I won’t be replying to any of your comments anymore.

          5. Correct, I answered your concern. The same concern you post on pretty much every article about shows that aren’t scheduled ‘quick enough’ for your liking. My point, which you ignored, is that it isn’t the US here so why does a show have to run on a US schedule here in Aust? I’m not interested in Tens FB page either!
