Steve Crawley, currently Head of Sport at Nine, will join FOX Sports as Head of Live Sport.
As part of the appointment FOX Sports is dividing production into two areas, Live Sport and Sport Entertainment Shows. Gary Burns will take on the new position of Head of Sports Entertainment Shows. Both roles are national, reporting directly into the Chief Executive Officer Patrick Delany.
“This puts in place a very strong team to take us into 2016 and beyond, with two of the best sports producers in the country working side by side. Having recently secured the biggest NRL rights in history and a new channel planned for 2017, we look forward to having Steve and his expertise on the team,” said Delany.
The announcement comes ahead of FOX Sports establishing a dedicated NRL channel in 2017.
Crawley begins at FOX Sports on the 1st of May, 2016.

Meaning higher subs to pay for tge NRL/AFL.enjoy dealing with that
Any loss of subcribers for Fox Sports/Foxtel will hurt, plus all the sports bars who show it live on Sat/Sunday nights will also lose patronage
NRL is pretty much the highest rating show on fox…
EPL… barely in the ratings…
sorry… EPL doesn’t drive sport on fox – NRL / AFL does
deal with it
I would not dismiss it. There was a huge outcry when it was announced they would lose it.
NRL???? Obviously this what matters. ..remember no EPL anymore…good luck
