UK drama Ripper Street will conclude with its fifth season, in 2017.
The period mystery was originally axed by the BBC after 2 seasons but rescued by Amazon Prime.
In May last year, Amazon commissioned a fourth and fifth series.
Fans in Australia will still have plenty more to come. ONE only began screening the third season last month on Saturday nights.

Yes, I’ve been watching it. I was surprised when it came back. I hadn’t heard that it had been renewed after being axed. So we still have a couple more seasons then.
