Fear the Walking Dead returns for its second season in early April.
The prequel to The Walking Dead is back at 1:30pm Monday April 11 on FX, express from the US.
It will replace The Walking Dead which has its season finale on April 4.
Season one ended with Madison, Travis and their extended family taking temporary shelter in Strand’s gated estate overlooking the Pacific Ocean. As civil unrest continues to grow and the dead take over Los Angeles, Strand prepares to escape to “Abigail,” his large yacht moored offshore.

Good, I thought Fear the Walking Dead offered a chance to bring more clarity to The Walking Dead it looked promising.
Any word if Foxtel with also air Talking Dead (hosted by Chris Hardwick) after each episode of Fear the Walking Dead?
I really enjoyed the first season of this show. So many whingers were expecting it to be like the Walking Dead, but it’s not. It’s a very different pace, a different way of telling the story. I think now the show is set up already, season 2 can really get into some more meaty plot lines.
The problem we ‘whingers’ have is we *didn’t* want or expect TWD, we were promised a story about what happened from Day Zero – roughly the 4 weeks Rick was in a coma – but they have skipped over most of that to go straight into TWD-lite (they even had a 2 week timejump). We didn’t see how the military was overrun, how civilisation broke down, if the government knew the extent of the outbreak, how a police state was enacted. It’s been very disappointing and a waste of a premise. And a waste of a landscape! To watch a city as big as LA go down would have been awesome, so many great visuals.
