Exotic UK drama Indian Summers has been axed after 2 seasons.
“We’re incredibly proud of Indian Summers and have loved having it in the schedule,” Channel 4 said in a statement. “But with a number of new drama launches already confirmed for 2017, we have decided not to commission a third series.”
The show, which stars Julie Walters and Henry Lloyd-Hughes, focuses on a group of socialites at the time of the British Raj.
Rachel Griffiths appears in the second season which is yet to screen in Australia on BBC First.
