The Voice coach Delta Goodrem has been announced as the second performer for the Logie Awards.

She will perform her new song “Dear Life.”

“It will be my first performance of the new song and I’m just really honoured to do it at a place I call home, like the Logies,” Delta says. “The song will only have been released one or two days before, so for a lot of people it will be their first time hearing the song. It will be a great moment. I’m really looking forward to singing it to a crowd of people who are my peers and friends from over the years.”

“Ever since she played the role of Nina Tucker on Neighbours in 2002, Delta has been a favourite in the TV Week office,” said Editor Emma Nolan. “Not only a talented actress and mentor on The Voice Australia, Delta has produced hit after hit as an artist and I can’t wait to see her take the Logies stage for what will no doubt be another show-stopping performance.”

Goodrem becomes joins previously-announced local act Conrad Sewell.

Nine screens the Logies Live on May 8th.

Amended: Samantha Jade performed at nominations event.

  1. This is another example of one of those things Americans get right.

Share the responsibility of hosting/broadcasting this event. Having Channel Nine broadcast the same nonsense with the same hosts and the same performers is getting/has gotten boring.
