MTV on the hunt for new reality stars

UK Reality TV star Ricci Guarnaccio (Geordie Shore, Ex on the Beach) and former Pussycat Dolls performer Melody Thornton will front a new local Reality series for MTV.

Then as-yet-untitled series will search for Australia’s Ultimate ‘Worldie’ -a phrase used on Geordie Shore which apparently means “an individual who possesses all round ‘out of this world’ awesomeness which includes the following qualities; hotness, great sense of humour, fit body, charismatic nature and a positive lust for life.”

Who knew?

The duo will visit “20 cities, travelling coastlines and crossing deserts on a plight to find a male or female who they will crown ‘Australia’s Ultimate Worldie’.”

Ricci Guarnaccio (pictured), who recently relocated here, said, “I absolutely love Australia and I can’t wait to showcase every part of it. I’m on the hunt for worldies and what better place to find them!”

“For me the winner needs to be more than a straight ten, someone who has the banter and the personality to back it up. They have to be an overall epic human and I can’t wait to join MTV on an adventure to find the Ultimate Worldie!”

Melody Thornton added, “I’ve had a lot of experience when it comes to girls, rivalries and competitions, but I can’t wait to see what Australia has to offer! I’ll be looking for Aussie guys and girls who are beautiful on the inside and out!”

MTV will produce the series in June to premiere mid-2016.
