Here is how the official site describes her rehearsal:

At the start of the song, Dami is seen lying across the top of a high box in the middle of the stage. There are transparent screens either side of her, as well as in front of her.

Initially the screens show images that suggest a nightime city skyline, before we see floating images of people’s heads moving around the screens, and seemingly around Dami, and as her arm moves around it looks as if she is manipulating the images around her.

Around half way through the song, the screens are whisked away, and Dami is helped off the box by two stagehands, who also remove teh final screen as the steady-cam revolves around Dami, so they can exit the stage unseen by the camera.

We then get a better look at her long elegant white dress, which is open at the front, and has crystals across the top half of her dress and over her right shoulder.

The final part of the song sees Dami take centre stage. with mainly blue light effects in the background, and also uses one of the most familiar Eurovision elements – the wind machine!

  1. Here is a link to a blog from one of the senior productions managers/co-ordinators on all the nitty gritty aspects of the contest – m-m-pr.com/index.php/eurovision-diary-2016

  2. This staging has received rave reviews from Eurovision insiders and Dami’s odds have already come in. It’s also tipped to win the 1st semi-final!

    So excited!

        1. Yes, but I think the point David is making is that the 10 countries are read out randomly. Its not until the day after the final that the details of the semi final voting is announced so that it does not impact the voting in the final

      1. I’m aware of that – but it is still noted after the final and there are indeed betting markets on the semi final winners and last years top two won their respective semi finals.

        Can’t wait!!
