“I’d like to say sorry for lying to everyone,” Kit Harington told EW. “I’m glad that people were upset that he died. I think my biggest fear was that people were not going to care. Or it would just be, ‘Fine, Jon Snow’s dead.’ But it seems like people had a, similar to the Red Wedding episode, kind of grief about it. Which means something I’m doing — or the show is doing — is right.”

  1. Not really shocked. I kind of expected it to happen…because they made a big deal showing his blood running into the snow….parden my pun.

  2. The first 2 eps of this season have been outstanding and Jon Snow’s re-birth has lots of story possibilities..
Now resurrect Ned Stark please :’)

  3. I would be interested to see if Jon Snow remains blue coloured for the rest of the season or just rots away like a living dead , Snow is obviously dead and likely to remain so, which opens up a lot of story twists where the theme of death is ever present.

    1. It was important to offer a destination for people to safely discuss what was clearly a big moment, without the need to recap a whole episode. That said I have no problem with the occasional post that gathers up a fan reaction. It’s not something I do every day. A blog is about the sum of the parts.

  4. So many good moments (and one horrible, horrible one – I hate you Ramsay). Tyrion – ‘I’m here to help. Don’t eat the help.’

  5. Jon coming back was pretty predictable to be honest. I was more shocked at Ramsay knifing Roose (not much sympathy here given he did the same thing to Robb) and then setting the hounds onto poor Walda and her newborn.

  6. A nice finish to the episode I thought. I perhaps was the only person who actually legitimately thought he was dead and gone… But after the first episode, with no real finality to his situation… I kind of figured out he would come back.
I’m torn, because I’m the kind of viewer who thinks that if a character dies… They should stay dead. Having said that and completely contradicting myself, I’m excited to see him back and what happens next and whether he’s the same Jon as before…

    1. I’m usually like that as well but in Jon’s case I’m prepared to make an exception. I pretty much would have accepted any method of him returning, they could have said Abracadabra and I would have still clapped and cheered ?
