US anthology series American Crime has been renewed for a third season, by ABC.
The series created by John Ridley, stars Felicity Huffman and Timothy Hutton. Season one set in California centres around racial tensions following the death of a war veteran and the assault of his wife. The second season in Indiana deals with homophobia after a student accuses several members of a private school basketball team of sexually assaulting him.
The series was recently nominated for 10 Emmy Awards.
Season three will focus on a new crime in a new setting, with cast announcements and plot details yet to be revealed.
It will screen on Presto later this year, express from the U.S.
