Seven News reporters stood down

Seven News reporters Amy and Sophie Taeuber have been stood down pending an internal investigation into online conduct.

News Corp reports the twins made alleged sexual harassment claims in recent weeks, but quotes an unnamed source suggesting they had been allegedly “victimised”.

Amy was hired as a cadet journalist a year ago, while her sister works as a freelancer.

Seven News Director Graham Archer described the issue as a private staff matter while a spokeswoman said “…proper process must be followed and as such no comment is appropriate.”
