Seven ratings week sizzles

Ratings: MKR wrapped with just under 2m viewers, with Seven's share this year now the biggest gap it has ever had over Nine.

Seven’s reign with My Kitchen Rules finished last week with the show nudging the 2 million mark for the finale.

Once again it has underpinned Seven’s entire first quarter for 2016, giving it the biggest lead the network has ever enjoyed over Nine.

All eyes are now on the new battle for 7:30 between The Voice, MasterChef and House Rules.

Best brands for the week were:

Seven: My Kitchen Rules (Winner Announced: 1.98m), Seven News (1.15m), Home and Away (803,000) and Seven Year Switch (789,000).

Nine: Married at First Sight (Follow up: 1.11m), Nine News (1.04m), A Current Affair (872,000) and 60 Minutes (753,000).

ABC: ABC News (Sat: 846,000), The Checkout (803,000), Midsomer Murders (778,000) and Father Brown (756,000).

TEN: NCIS (568,000), Bondi Rescue (560,000), Gogglebox (548,000) and The Project (7pm: 543,000).

SBS: Untold Australia (328,000), Michael Mosley: Trust Me I’m a Doctor (318,000), Great Continental Railway Journeys (281,000) and Vikings (247,000).

Seven was victorious in all 5 cities.

Seven won Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. Nine scored first on Wednesday and Thursday. ABC bettered TEN on Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Saturday, both tied for Wednesday.
